Ball Ground Georgia is a little city that is growing quickly. One of the best things about Ball Ground is its location - it is half-way between Canton and Jasper - with easy access to both cities from 575. Canton would be the city of choice to travel to from Ball Ground for medical care, hospitals, shopping and restaurants. From downtown Ball Ground traveling on 575 south would be about a 10 minute trip to Canton. Ball Ground is expecting a renovation of its downtown area soon. Retirees in this day and age are different than years ago. Hence, the new term “active adult” living has been coined. Cherokee County is quickly becoming one of the best places to retire in the country.
