			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cherokee County was recently listed as the 18th fastest growing county in the country.  There are many reasons for this with the 2 biggest being low taxes and affordable housing.  There is so much development going on in northern Cherokee it is hard to list it all, but I will mention some of the more exciting things coming soon.  The Bluffs at Technology Park, located in Canton, is a beautiful 700-acre office park that features professional office and business space in low and mid-rise buildings.  One of two new buildings is now completed and the first tenants are moving in this month! Another exciting addition to the Canton area is being billed as the &#8220;largest open-air mall in the Southeast.&#8221;  So far some of the anchor stores are SuperTarget, Kohls, Lowes and JCPenney.  Many more will be coming and are slated to open in early 2009.  Downtown Canton is also being noted for its Canton Theatre productions and County Arts Center.  These are both very active programs with productions and workshops going on all year long.  For more information on residential or commercial real estate please contact me - Sue B at 678-549-4949.</p>

One of the best things about Ball Ground is its location - it is half-way between Canton and Jasper - with easy access to both cities from 575.  Canton would be the city of choice to travel to from Ball Ground for medical care, hospitals, shopping and restaurants.  From downtown Ball Ground traveling on 575 south would be about a 10 minute trip to Canton.  Ball Ground is expecting a renovation of its downtown area soon.  In keeping up with the quaint look of the area now - developers will be rebuilding with an eye to keep the historic and small town feel to the city.  The area may be a mecca for active adult home buyers soon.  Several developments are going up now with plans for golf cart trails, community centers and activities.  Of course the area has always been a big draw for families.  More house for your money, bigger lots, and good schools have attracted homebuyers to the area for years.</p>

If you have a high balance on one credit card, and very low balances on several others - distribute the debt across all the cards.  Your score is based on the ratio of debt owed to available credit on each card.  Spreading the amount owed across several cards will lower your ratios overall.  Many consumers will close a credit card when they have paid off the balance.  It is better to leave the card open and use it occasionally - again it will help the overall ratio of credit available versus credit debt.  The last thing is to watch out for all those &#8220;pre-approved&#8221; offers you get in the mail.  Even though they are advertised as &#8220;pre-approved&#8221; they will still check your credit report before final approval and impact your score with each hit.  Additionally experts recommend to keep your credit card numbers between 2 and 5.  Any more than 5 cards can get precarious to manage and control.
